Espace des Arts de Châlon sur Saône is a major cultural center existing since 1971 and recognized by the label "Scène Nationale" since 2006.
Espace des Arts programs a large variety of events: Theater, cinema, live music and concerts, circus...
It includes several theaters and rehearsal rooms:

London 2012 Olympics: AuviTran Audio ToolBox in action for the pleasure of hundreds of thousands of fans

Context:

ParkLive was designed as a key venue of the Olympics, allowing thousands of fans to watch and listen in optimal conditions to different events in a natural amphitheatre of the Olympic Park.

Alongside live sporting action, Park Live featured activities such as live entertainment, short films and visits from Olympic athletes.

Some impressive figures:

· 15,220 square metres area

· A capacity of up to 10 000 fans at a time

· Two giant screens

· 90 loudspeakers covering all the area

· Open from early morning to late evening, from day one to last day

Sound Directions UK was selected for the audio part of this major event, and the exciting challenge was faced with full success.

Key technical aspects:
The audio solution consisted in 80xSoundTube loudpseakers, powered via Clould VTX amplifiers, all linked to an EtherSound ring and controlled over IP through the Fiber Optic link.

Les préamplis micro de la gamme AuviTran Audio ToolBox: testés et approuvés par le CFPTS (Centre de Formation Professionnelle des Techniques du Spectacle)

Créé il y a plus de 40 ans, le CFPTS est aujourd'hui le plus grand centre de formation continue aux techniques du spectacle en Europe.
Avec plus de 160 250 heures stagiaires en 2011, le CFPTS est donc devenu une référence reconnue et incontournable dans son secteur.
Pour la partie audio, le CFPTS organise une quinzaine de stages annuels, avec les meileurs produits et techniques du moment.
Aussi sommes nous ravis d'entendre dire du bien du CFPTS sur nos équipements.

Début Janvier 2012, AuviTran a réalisé en partenariat avec le CFPTS une session d’écoutes comparatives en aveugle.

Sur un plateau Live, face aux nouvelles cartes Préampli Micros AxC-AX4M AuviTran, le CFPTS avait choisi de tester des préamplis convertisseurs réseau haut de gamme :

l’AD8HR Yamaha équipé de son kit EtherSound,
l’AQONDA 16 de Digigram
le MICSTASY RME équipé également de son kit EtherSound

Préamplis micros AuviTran pour la gamme Audio ToolBox, jugés d’excellente qualité
face à Yamaha AD8HR, Digigram Aqonda et RME Micstasy

Le jury - composé de formateurs du CFPTS et de professionnels de l’audio allant du classique à la variété- a bénéficié d’un plateau de musiciens pour juger des qualités de chaque appareil. La scène, équipée d’une façade en Nexo et de retours en L-Acoustics a été entièrement câblée en réseau et en numérique aux NXAMP de Nexo comme aux LA-4 raccordés grâce à une Audio Toolbox équipée de sorties AES-EBU. Un enregistrement simultané a permis de réécouter les sessions pour comparer à nouveau les préamplis écoutés.

Si la matinée de tests a été consacrée aux écoutes comparatives en aveugle, l’après-midi a permis de se pencher plus en détails sur le comportement de l’Audio Toolbox, avec des points précis comme l’écoute du seuil de bruit, le comportement en saturation ou les bruits de commutations des étages de gain de l’appareil.

Après cette journée complète de tests, le jury a conclu que les préamplis micro de la gamme AuviTran Audio ToolBox sont au « top du top » de la qualité, et ce pour un prix et une modularité imbattables.

Lors des tests, les jurés ont particulièrement noté l’absence de bruit, la transparence et la précision analytique des Audio Tool Box testés.

Cette série de tests approfondis en situation de terrain nous permet de constamment affiner nos produits, afin de nous rapprocher au mieux des besoins de nos utilisateurs.

Aujourd'hui disponibles commercialement, les cartes AxC-AX4M avec quatre préamplis micro permettent de créer des configurations en réseaux, aussi bien sur scène qu'en régie.

Inaugurated in March 2011 in its new format, La Gaite Lyrique is now a creation and resources center dedicated to digital medias and arts, and to modern music creations.
Completly reformed and reinvented, la Gaite Lyrique now offers various creation rooms, concert halls and resources centers.

In close collaboration with the audiovisual designer (Labeyrie), the choice has been made to have a completely digitally networked creation tool in all spaces of the building (including halls), and thus providing artists with an unique creation tool: all loudspeakers in all levels of the building are connected and indiviudually adressable, through EtherSound

The brand new stadium of Tanger (Morrocco), is another example of collaboration between AuviTran and Nexo teams.
Inaugurated in 2011, it has a gauge of 45 000 spectators (possibility to extend to 65 000).
SGM (Scène du Grand Maghreb) successfully projected and installed the audio system for this new stadium: line array system for both sound reinforcement and emergency in the arena.

Context
Inaugurated in 1998, Stade de France is a major arena, with a jauge of 80 000 spectators
The arena is intensively used for multple activities (football, rugby, athletism, concerts...), with different tribunes configurations depending on the event.
Consortium Stade de France decided in 2010 to renovate completely the audio system, with following objectives in mind:

provide excellent audio quality and comfort for all spectators, whatever the stadium configuration
provide best possible intelligibility (clarity of speech), and conformity to secutity standards
full control and optimization of audio volumes everywhere in the arena
permanent audio level measurement in and out the arena, for a better real time adaptation

The stadium-scaled Ben-Hur was performed in the Olympic ANZ Stadium of Sydney on October 22d and 23th 2010: two succesful live shows performed in a stadium of 80 000 seats.

Audio distribution was planned and achived other EherSound network (Ethernet and Optical links): 32 line array clusters were connected and two AuviTran AVM500-ES matrixes allowed a highly robust star architecture.
